Chiropractic Adjustment Techniques
Dr. Gardner, DC has a variety of chiropractic techniques and methods to best help you with your needs! Care is customized to each patient's specific needs. Our goal is to free up your body's natural innate / recuperative healing processes to make you the best you can be. The body's neurological system is the best way to affect this healing power in each person, which is why we focus on the brain/nerve/body connections to achieve true health. Among the methods Dr. Gardner uses for providing chiropractic adjustments, the following list of methods are utilized:
- Diversified - Hands-On method of adjusting patients (traditional Chiropractic method)
- Mechanical Tool adjustment Methods - i.e. "Activator" tool adjustments
- Percussor - Mechanical tool that operates like a "jack-hammer" that treats joints and soft tissue conditions
- SOT- SacroOccipital Technique utilizing pelvic and occipital treatment to improve CSF flow (ceribrospinal fluid)
- Laser Therapy - Low Level Light Laser therapy of 635 nm wavelength to improve cell membrane permiability and to increase cellular ATP production

Unfortunately, injury on the job is a common issue among American workers. The most common form of work injury is located in the low back, followed by headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. Did you know that many of these conditions are frequently relieved without the need for drugs or surgery by using natural chiropractic care? Depending on the diagnosis, chiropractic care has a higher success rate than many medical procedures. Dr. Gardner, DC has been working with worker's compensation claims for years and has a solid track record for helping injured workers in Idaho. If you or someone you know has been injured on the job, remember to call us for a thorough evaluation, followed by quality chiropractic care to get you back on your feet again.
At Grand Teton Chiropractic, P.C. we do a thorough patient history, a symptom survey form and/or muscle testing to asses nutritional needs. The reason we use this method is that an individual will have changing needs with regards to which organs actually need nutritional/supplemental support THAT DAY. The body is dynamic and always trying to achieve health, which means the needs for supplementation are always shifting as well. This fluid-health dynamic is best supported by muscle testing, in our opinion, which is why we've moved from computer analysis to the more traditional muscle testing method.
We all need to detoxify our systems on a regular basis (yearly). The reason for this is because our environment has become progressively more toxic, with all the chemicals used in our modern existence, it's no wonder that we can all benefit from detox sessions. At Grand Teton Chiropractic, P.C. we utilize two forms of detox: supplementation/nutritional and ionic footbaths. We can help individuals clear their systems from common toxins in our environment and improve the bodies ability to transport oxygen, carbon dioxide and toxins as needed.
